"This hotel has a lot of positives, great location, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. The hotel is steps away from the central train station. A very busy area, however with windows closed our room was very quiet. Our main negative, we booked the Executive room with canal view. The description says it sleeps 4, however our room was very small with only 1 chair. I had to go down to guest services twice to get another chair sent up. The description on the website showed a loveseat. Our room was so small, there was no room for a loveseat hardly enough to walk around with the 2 chairs. Definitely the website and the room we booked did not match the room we were given. We were very dissapointed!! "

"(1) It's on Rembrandtplein, a street leading off Rembrandt Square. Another hotel named 'Rembrandt Square' is conspicuous in the square. The location of the NYX needs to be emphasized. (2) The bathroom had a tub and a shower. No instructions for their use was provided. (a) We finally determined that the circular control on the side of the tub controlled the volume of water entering the tub -- if the tub was selected. (b) Confusingly; it also operated the drain.
