"An old hotel but very well maintained. Excellent location close to train station, old town, and marina. There's a swimming pool. Our room was very small, and the shower was the smallest ever. The balcony and neighborhood view was a plus. Included breakfast was impressive."

"The staff person who checked us in the first day was really not kind or helpful (we were there for a wedding and my husband's shirt got wrinkled in transit... we asked where we could an iron or a laundromat and she said no way, but there is literally a laundromat 500 feet away). There was a used shampoo bottle in the shower. We absolutely could not figure out how to turn on the AC and the room looked like it was from the 1950s. Stay somewhere else."

"Having read some of the earlier poor reviews, I was a little nervous. But I needn’t have been because this is a lovely clean and well run hotel in a great position. What surprised me most was the quality of the restaurant and especially towards the end of the week when lobster appeared on the menu. The bed in our room was large and comfortable with a good shower and air con. The pool is very large, clean and with plenty of singers with some underneath the cool shade of the pines. A definite...
