Hotels near Roussillon Archeology Museum

"I thought I would try a more up-scale hotel than usual on this trip to Montreal, but on the whole I was disappointed. (1) check-in: I arrived at 5pm and I was told my room was ready, but I'd have to wait while it was "verified" -- that took 10-15 minutes, which was OK, but not my idea of luxury. (2) room: large, but a bit worn. The front legs were missing from the mini-fridge. One of the upholstered chairs smelled faintly of vomit when I sat in it. The bed was comfortable. (3) check-out: there was a line to check out at 6am. Unpleasant surprise: a $20-per-night "destination fee" was due on checkout, in addition to the advertised rate. I see it is disclosed in the fine print at the time of booking; however, since it is not optional (unlike parking, or a late checkout charge) I would expect it to be part of what expedia quotes as the total."

"We would definitely go back and stay there! Nice cafe next door, nice neighbourhood, easy parking, short drive to Montreal centre. Spacious room and lovely decoration, very homely, we are a couple but will be fab for family too. Not sure how convenience if you are not driving and it can be noisy at times but it didn’t bother us, with rest are all perks. Very responsive staff and messages, thank you, we had a lovely stay. "

"Check-in was smooth and quick. They helped with our bags and valet took the car. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Lobby is a little small, so can feel crowded during certain parts of the day, but were able to get in and out easily. La Mezz restaurant on Mezzanine offers continental breakfast daily, however we opted to hit the Starbucks across the street. We did do dinner at hotel twice and food was fantastic both times. Hats off to Simon for his service! Most shops were walkable from hotel. Our room faced the main road, yet it was relatively quiet. Didn't hear a lot of traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again."

"La chambre était propre et la vue sur la ville et le fleuve est jolie. Le coin est relativement tranquille et l'accès à la piste cyclable et aux parcs est intéressante. Les installations datent d'un certain âge ainsi que les tapis et la décoration. Je ne dirais pas que ce sont les lits les plus confortables, ils semblent avoir de l'âge. Les couvre-lits, rideaux et robinets sont défraichis, mais cet endroit peut constituer un bon rapport qualité prix si vous souhaitez passer un peu de temps tout près de Montréal, sans payer le gros prix. On s'y sent tout de même en sécurité. Cet endroit présenterait un très bon potentiel si chambres étaient remises au goût du jour!"
