"An overnight stay was fine but wouldn’t want to stay longer, the room felt small with 2 adults and a child in it, however the shower had great pressure and the beds were comfortable. Our biggest complaint would be the aircon, could only turn it down to 18c, didn’t feel cold and we all woke up through the night feeling hot. Overall a great location and a good price, so you get what you pay for."

"We had the best night staying at the Esplanade. The room was spacious and the beds super comfy. A pleasant surprise to receive a bottle of sparkling for my birthday in the room on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were very accommodating and polite. The night at the bar was super busy due to Dockers playing in the second semifinal, the staff worked very efficiently and politely trying to serve everyone. All areas of the hotel appeared clean. Lovely stay, would come back."

"Our favourite place to stay in Scarborough! Although the pool section was getting a facelift again, was nice to have another option. The buffet breakfast was super and had different items one day to the next which was nice. They even provided a boxed breakfast since we had to leave really early in the morning to catch a flight! The only downfalls from our stay were: no spare toilet paper roll in room upon arrival, our phone wouldnt work to call the reception area and the fan in the bathroom didnt work so when taking a shower the mirrors would really fog up even in the entrance to the room. We also dont take super hot showers. Otherwise was a great stay as always and the front reception was helpful with everything!"
