They were covered over and only discovered in 1893. There is an impressive 15th C. doom painting with Christ seated on a rainbow with the virgin Mary and St John. The Neville chapel is in the north east corner of the church, named after the Neville branch of the Abergavenny family who were Lords of the Manor from 1450. The church is a Grade I listed building.
