This is a nice little hotel within walking distance to a bus station that takes you everywhere in Luzern. The rooms are a little outdated and old with only basics included. For instance, there was only one power outlet (which had a lamp and fan already plugged in) in the entire room. The breakfast was good. Staff very polite. Nice play area for kids on the first floor. Overall, I think it was a little too expensive for what it offered but I guess that’s Switzerland!!

The staff was wonderful - super helpful and kind. Loved the outside play area for our kids. Wish the room had a pot to heat up water and a fridge. The room was clean; the only exception was the fire alarm in the bathroom needed dusting badly. (Room 25) Breakfast was ok; we wished there was hot food (like scrambled eggs) available.

Pros: The staff was very friendly, especially, Jamie, who served breakfast each morning during our stay. We got there at 12pm and they allowed us to check in early, which was helpful. The hotel is easily by public transportation. The included breakfast was great. Cons: There is no AC in the rooms, only tower fans so may not be ideal during summer months. We had booked a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). For the kids, they provided a bunk bed. Because of the this, the person sleeping on the top section had no fan as well, so the stay was not as comfortable as expected. It was hard to accommodate the child on the double bed also because it had two separate mattresses, which create a gap in the middle, which would not allow someone to sleep comfortably in the middle.

Super kid-friendly!

Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant food was delicious, there are playgrounds inside and outside. Lots of families, great vibe. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

lperfect for kids

perfect stay if you bring your kid to Switzerland. Lots of places to have fun - but sadly could not take a train due to rain 😢 breakfast was also very nice. 10min to Luzern by bus for free with the visitor card. the supermarkenext to the hotel was recommendable.

Family oriented hotel in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. 20 minutes away from Lucerne train station with bus stop in front of the hotel entrance. Excellent breakfast and extremely helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean and well-kept facilities, nice breakfast offered which is included with the room. Slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of Lucerne, which we enjoyed but you still get the advantage of a free guest transit pass for zone 10 areas, for each night of your stay.
