"I would like to rate this hotel a 3.5 but I can't. It is not the building in the pictures at all, that is a residence of some sort. The hotel is an old yellow building past that fancy building. The building greets you with ratty old carpet throughout and a very old elevator. The room was like a nunnery we stayed at in Italy once, sparse, with not a thing on the walls. The furniture is old and banged up. I thought it was an old dorm converted, only to learn that it had a heyday and has been around for years. The shower was weak and low pressure. The staff are rarely at the front desk. Breakfast was very minimal, probably because there didn't seem to be a lot of people staying at the hotel. To be fair, Lund itself seems to need an overhaul compared to other parts of Sweden. A plus, the pillows were lovely, the bed ok, and the staff very nice of you saw them. There's a heat rack in the bathroom and thank goodness because it's towel per guest which I always find so sillly. This place isn't cheaper than others in the area and doesn't deserve the 3 star rating at all. Really, it was fine but gives hostel vibes. "

"Our second time staying here. The room and the facility is safe and clean. Very convenient for traveling with a toddler too. Kind stuff. We would definitely keep coming back. "

"Nice clean modern room, great bathroom. Only wish that the staff had showed the right way to the "new section" of the hotel so we could find our way to the room outside of the pub's opening hours. Had to call a service number several times before they answered, and eventually a security guard was sent to assist. "

"We had an overall pleasant stay. The buildings and facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the surroundings are very nice. A couple of small things could improve the experience. The background music was playing constantly and quite loudly, with many speakers around the property. While background music is fine, it sometimes felt a bit overwhelming, especially in the restaurant where it mixed with the general noise level. There was also music playing outside near our room around 10 pm. We also had dinner in the restaurant. The staff were friendly, but the service felt a bit unstructured and inexperienced. Our reservation was at 8 pm and after being seated we quickly received a small starter, but then waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes for the main course, even though we had ordered tartare. It seemed like our table may have been forgotten. Overall a nice place, but a bit more attention to the smaller details would make the experience even better."

"Lovely clean room but missing a kettle or even a bottle of water, a bit of a miss when there appeared to be no one working behind the bar when I returned from eating out as there is no evening food service at the Lundia. There used to be coffee machines in the corridors but these have gone as well. Maybe vending machines would be a good idea?"

"Classic hotel. I normally travel in Marriott (elite) but non available. Will be coming back for sure. Room, shower great. Food excellent, atmosphere great to so many people in the dining area. Location perfect to visit Lund. Ubers a piece of cake and train a short walk. "
