Top Rossendale Hotel Reviews
DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester - Piccadilly
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed in a Duplex Suite and it was brilliant. It felt good to be able to go upstairs to bed and felt like a home from home. The balconette overlooking Piccadilly was great to watch people go by while I sat people watching with a coffee. Breakfast was delicious for the most part, and the staff very friendly - particularly one lad working in the bar. My one critique, and one I'd hope that the DoubleTree staff take on board, on all literature and the welcome slides on the TV indicated that Check Out was 12noon, and I put my Do Not Disturb sign on the door indicating I was still in the room. At 10.50am Housekeeping came into the room and asked why I hadn't checked out yet. With that I thought right quickly pack up and go. Ensuring that Housekeeping have a record of rooms being vacated that day and not going to service the rooms until midday on the Departure day would be highly beneficial and not be made to feel I need to rush - particularly when it meant having to sit at the train station for 2 hours until my train, whereas I could've had a little bit more comfort before needing to go."

"well located in the midst of everything, but good soundproofing in the rooms. bed was exceptionally comfortable"
Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays
8/10 Good
"Nice stay but hot water in both the shower and bathroom sink was so hot nearly scalded you. ROOM 113. Meant you couldn't really use the shower without getting burnt even at the coldest setting. Sign says to shut the bathroom door to avoid steam setting off the fire alarm so must be a constant problem"

"Always have a wonderful stay Great staff great rooms Everything just perfect"
The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the Edwardian! The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone is so happy and pleasant. Breakfast was great and the coffees are lovely. The hotel is in a great location for nights out, bars, restaurants etc. The rooms are brilliant and have an iron and ironing board, Nespresso machine, fridge etc. which some don't have. The spa is great, the pool, gym, sauna and steam room are excellent and was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant and bars look amazing although we didn't eat there. There's a lovely champagne bar too. The changing rooms at the spa were lovely and there are large beds to relax near the pool I saw a couple of small areas in the pool area that need plastering to retain the high class finish that is so obvious everywhere else throughout the hotel (I noticed this near to the water/drinks because I'm a tradey and no one else might've and it's small! I'd have done it if I'd have had my trowel ;) We will 100% be going again. This is now our favourite place in Manchester and worth every penny."
