"The beautiful location"

"The staff was kind enough to refer me to her English-speaking colleague. That reduced language barrier. The male staff was very swift in processing my check-in. He was also very detailed in relating to me the hotel's instruction (esp. not to open the door when the door bell rings - signalling my breakfast is here). The room was spotless, clean and very spacious with lot of amenities (a bit too overwhelming for a solo traveller). I enjoyed both my Japanese and Western breakfasts for the next 2 days. As the instructions for the main controller (AC and lights) were in Japanese, so i had a hard time adjusting them accordingly. Other than that, i had a marvellous 2 night stays at the hotel. "

"This hotel is unrivalled value for money; providing all facilities required for a traveller, including free parking and inclusive breakfast. The only downside for a soft European like me, a characteristic of all Toyoko Inns I've stayed in, is an overly hard bed."

"Everything was great from the hospitality to the service. Having a personal shuttle take you around town was great considering how "hilly" the terrain is in Arimaonsen. The onsens (hotsprings) are forbsure the main attraction and the time allotted to rent each onsen (45 minutes a session) was certainly generous. I've stayed here twice already and I'm already looking forward to returning someday."
