Roosevelt Roads hotel rooms a the Independent

"The private beach was not "tranquil" as it was advertised. They had a DJ set up blasting music like it was some night club, about an hour after we arrived. We had been listening to the waves and wind in the trees, then it was ruined. This is supposed to be a 4 star resort, not a public beach in Miami."

"Overall good experience in terms of how clean the property is, organization, staff. Just a small thing with room's hot water but was rapidly fixed. Guys helping with valet parking and people guidance: nice, well informed, kind people."

"Wonderful little get away. In the mountains, but still close to town, and everything else. Can hear the road, and the cars that travel through, but they give ear plugs due to the noise. "

"Everything was good just there was no microwave in the room and not even in the whole property"

"Room service and dining options are limited. Parking is expensive and to be paid separately. Room odor can improve. The air conditioner needs to reach 3 floors. There is 1 floor freezing and another warm."
