"For a Travelodge or Motel, this was very clean, staff was friendly and it was an excellent value. Teh room was clean and nice, the bed comfortable enough. The area was quiet and it is convenient to everything in town. I would stay here again."

"This place is a really great value. Its not the Taj Mahal...you need to know that going in...we stayed 2 times. Once going to Florida and then, on the way back to Indiana. The first time our room was spotless but had a gnat problem (drippy bath tub faucet, I'm guessing was the culprit) but otherwise- the room was adequate, nothing fancy but we dont need that. It was absolutely spotless both stays. Could it use a little updating?? Maybe? The tub in both rooms were pretty badly in need of some tlc but- otherwise, I think they are fine. I've been in way more expensive hotels that weren't nearly as clean. Its just a nice, simple, appears to be family owned and operated...little place. Didn't see the pool and the breakfast was adequate. I can't eat most of it because of food sensitivities but, I'm used to that with a continental breakfast. Front desk staff super kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Beds were comfortable, it wasn't noisy at all.. and in a great location with a little antique store and mexican restaurant within walking distance. Yeah, in this economy- at that rate- it is just about perfect. I think they get a lot of repeat customers from what we gathered at breakfast. We wouldn't even hesitate to stay again. "

"Brick walls were cool. Glad to be able to bring our dog. Room was quiet. Rooftop area was nice. Bed mattress sagged, like a hammock. Need more light and lamps in the space. Appreciated the hand soap, and shower amenities. Also appreciated extra pillows. Would help to have user information for the TV. There was a note about North Carolina snacks to welcome guests, but there weren’t anyone we arrived. Really need more hangers in the closet."

"Older but clean, we had to change rooms because they put us in the wrong one. Then the new room door wouldn't lock. They were not able to fix it and we had to rely on thw top lock when we slept. We also had to leave the room opened when we went out our event and just hope that no one got into our room while we were out. They said it would be fine if someone did get into the room because they multiple outaide cameras. "

"As a solo female traveler, I typically stay in hotels with interior hallways and doors that you need a keypad to enter. However, the Bryson in is an updated old school true story motel with updated doors with key card locks in a quiet setting just off the interstate and the staff made me feel safe and welcome."
