"The room was perfect for what we needed. It’s quite rare to find a property with a double and two single beds. The breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day, and the hostess was really helpful with local information. I would recommend this place if wanting to visit Venice, we prefer escaping the bustle of the centre and escaping by water taxi to this quieter location for the night. The nearby restaurants and bars were great."

"We stayed in mid-May at Hu Venezia. Hu Venezia staff were really helpful and friendly. Pre arrival and once I was able to connect with a representative, it was easy and simple in booking car service from Marco Polo airport to the property. Our driver Massimo was very friendly and helpful in making the start our trip on a positive note. As a family of five with 3 small kids, this property was great because of the pool amenities. Our cabin certainly served its purpose and was fine. The major drawback from completing giving this property a “great” status was the spotty wifi connection within our cabin, which basically meant we could not connect our iPad or Nintendo to help entertain our kids when we needed to. Connections in the major common areas were great. The shuttle service they provided to get to/from Venice was great and convenient."

"Breakfast was very good, Buffet style. Room was clean. Best location a minute or two away from the Rialto stop which takes you to and from the airport via alilaguna water taxi, just steps away from the Rialto bridge, bathroom very modern with tiled floor, great AC, shower and toilet facilities very clean which is my number 1 priority, room on the ornate side, with floor rugs, beds topped with traditional fabrics etc. stayed on first floor, was a bit of a walk through corridors, up flight of stairs then down to get to room, it was a different experience but not bad at all."

"For a hotel built is 1562, this place was amazing. Loved the parts that are still original, updated building but has that old world charm. Staff extremely accommodating and very helpful for getting any and all services, water taxi, luggage, etc. highly recommend this hotel, close enough to the main square, 10 minute walk. Would stay there again."

"Staff and rooms were lovely. Air conditioning was great - could leave on and come back to a very cold room - which was perfect in the heat. Fantastic location. 5 mins walk to a plaza/square with 5-6 nice restaurants and 10 minutes in over direction to st marks square. Small shop very near for some cold drinks. Would recommend the sunset jazz cruise if looking for something different to do one evening. Would also recommend reaching out to the hotel to book a water taxi. They have their own dock at the back entrance of the hotel."
