"I recently spent 4 nights at The Business Inn. A wonderful property. The location just off Elgin is very handy – good transit access and easy walking distance to most areas of downtown. My 1 bedroom suite was spacious and quiet. There was a well-equipped full kitchen which I did not need to make use of. Very large bathroom with loads of hot water. Two large TVs, one in the living room, one in the bedroom, in-room iron and ironing board. Loved the fact that the in-room lighting was bright and more than sufficient for bedside reading. Included breakfast was very good: hot options (egg bites, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal) were very welcome. Great coffee, juice, bottled water, etc. Lots of room to eat in the breakfast room or overflow room, though many guests just port their choices back to their rooms. There are also free laundry and 24/7 fitness though I used neither. Staff were very solicitous and responsive. The only real negative is that the in-room coffee is just awful. They really ought to spring for Keurig or Nespresso machines in the rooms. My tip: pick up your morning coffee in the breakfast room – one or two cups as you require – and take it to your room. You can always reheat later as needed in the microwave. One final remark. The management has opted for heavy paper plates, cups, compostable coffee cups lids and cutlery, which is amazing. But there is no recycling in either the breakfast room nor the rooms. Still, a real gem and I will be back."
