Top Romsley Hotel Reviews

Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street

8/10 Good

"Solidly good hotel in a convenient location. A very short walk from the nearest tram stop. Breakfast (included in my rate) was good for this class of hotel. Comfortable bed and powerful shower. The only down-side is that the hotel does get pretty busy between 8;00-9:30am and there are not as many lifts as needed to serve the number of rooms - so leave plenty of time in the morning for coming down to breakfast or departing."

Macdonald Burlington Hotel

8/10 Good

"Great hotel, perfectly located across the road from the train station. Easy access to the shops and restaurants. Right in the city centre. The hotel itself is traditional and feels older. However, it is immaculate and clean. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't eat or drink in the hotel, but the bar looked cosy. I would stay here again. Felt very safe as a solo traveller."

International Hotel Telford

10/10 Excellent

"This Hotel does everything right. Firstly it's location is right next to Telford International Centre for conferences and exhibitions. Secondly it's a maximum 10 minutes walk to the South water development with a range of restaurants, Bella Italia etc, pubs, Hungry Horse, and entertainment Cineworld, Bowling Alley and more. It's well designed and easy to get to on foot( if the gate at the hotel is not closed you can cut across the Telford International Centre car park, making it even quicker). Staff were brilliant. Room was excellent heating worked. Breakfast was great. Price brilliant. It was a perfect base for our trips around the area for National Trust properties and we will certainly return to. The Olive restaurant is in the hotel next for evening meals. Telford surprised us. The Hotel was warm, friendly, great staff, and we will be going back. Thoroughly recommended."
