5 pisos son muchos para subir andando

La situsción buena. Son 5 pisos sin ascensor . No te hacen la limpieza diaria ni del cuarto de baño, este está fuera de la habitación. El desayuno es intragable, en vasos de plástico y con un croasan del día anterior. La conecsión a internet es muy buena y gratuita. Las personas que te atienden son muuy amables

Not entirely happy with the hotel

Stayed at the 1909 bed and breakfast with my girlfriend for 5 days. Pros, Its pretty comfortable except for all the dust on the floor, Clean toilet Very cooling environment Close to the Metro Area that provides cheap food Cons, Its a bed and breakfast hotel but the breakfast is horrible, they provide orange juice and tea but its very little and bread that is not very good. They only provided one set of towel Does not provide shampoo or soap Very dust Does not have a proper closet

Absolutely terrible place

All, please be careful with this terrible place. Dario, who put all goodreview, is the owner of this place. It is far from Colliseum-20 min by walk. It is place for young students am\nd maximum should cost 30$/day. No kitchen, dirty, Rooms are not locked and dirty sheets. No lift. 6th floor-be careful with laggages and if you sick or old person. Terrible, absolutely terrible place

Centralt og simpelt

1909 Bed and breakfast ligger i gå gang fra termini og 20 min. gang fra colosseum, det ligger også 5 min fra manzoni metro st., så det er let at komme til og fra. Dog ligger det på fjerde sal uden elevator, hvilket kunne være lidt trættende efter en lang dag med ømme ben. Værelset var fint og simpelt, men badevandet skiftede fra iskoldt til skoldhedt. Morgenmaden bestod af en lille kop stærk kaffe, et glas juice og en crossaint med sukker på - og en enkelt dag også et glas mælk. Morgenmaden bliver afleveret på værelset fra kl. 09, hvilket i praksis betyder at den kan komme mellem kl. 09 og kl. 10.30. Ejeren og hans kæreste, som kommer med maden, er utroligt søde og hjælpsomme og snakker begge udemærket engelsk og selvom de kun er der når man chekker ind og til morgenmaden, kan man altid ringe til dem fra hotellet, hvis der er noget. Vi var alt i alt glade for at bo der, men den største ulempe er udentvivl, at man ikke ved hvornår morgenmaden kan finde på at dukke op og det skiftende badevand.

Good things first: Cheap, near the central station, near city town(colloseum, etc),near metro, electric fan in room, great cafe in front of the entrance (haiti sud), not costy to get there by taxi in the nighttime 8-15€, nice lady working there, only 3 rooms, inc wifi. Bad things: Not the best part of town, no elevator (4th floor), private bathroom but not in room, small bathroom, same key to all the rooms inside the hostel, mold in the bathroom. Overall experience: I will recommend this hostel for what it is. Dont expect much and you will be ok. Stayed in other hostels in europe for more money and they havent been much better. Ps: They only take cash payment for the stay when you arrive. Young couple from Stockholm

1909 Bed & Breakfast Via Blixio 71

The hotel is not sign posted & there is no reception. When we got there the room wasn't ready & had to wait 30 minutes while they got it sorted. When they did finally put us into the room (7 stories up & no elevator) , they came back 20 minutes later & told us that it was the wrong room & we had to move again. When we did get our room it was filthy, there was footprints on the wall, dried spit on another wall & a used condom under the bed which we found accidentally the next day on check out!! The full breakfast was a prepackaged croissant & a small plastic cup of warm apple juice!! Please don't waste your money on this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't Stay Here... EVER! Please believe me!

For the price, it is not a bad deal. Although, there are nicer (and cheaper) hostles you can stay at. It is a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum, which is nice. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station. And that is all the good I can say about this place. We arrived for our stay around 3pm. The outside building was locked, and no matter how much we rang the bell, we got nothing. Finally a tenant from another area let us in the building as she was entering it. We walked up the stairs and tried knocking on the door. No Answer. We sat out on the steps for OVER 30 minutes, before the cleaning lady came up the stairs. She wasn't even supposed to be there at the time, as she explained. She only happened to be picking something up. She had NO idea anyone was staying over, as the owner had not told her. She didn't know if we had paid, or anything. It was horrible. Had she not come "on accident" we could have sat out there for hours! Oh and let me also say, we stayed there for 3 nights in total, and not ONCE did we meet the owner. We thought that was incredibly rude. The 2nd and 3rd night that we stayed there, we actually stayed downstairs at the Paipa Guest House. Not sure why they moved us, especially since 1909 was empty, and we had already paid them to stay there. But Paipa was only on the 2nd floor, so we were thankful for less steps to climb. But again, at Paipa, they gave us keys for all of the doors, except for the guest house itself. We had a key for the outside gate and for our bed room, but we didn't have a key for the apartment itself. We asked the man who was manning the desk for that key, and he told us we couldn't have it and that he would always be at the desk (which is a nicer feature compared to 1909). And wouldn't you know, one night we came back around 8pm, and we were left once again sitting on the stairs, after knocking and knocking, because no one was at the desk. This is horrible customer service. Also, at both places, we were awakened several time at night by people ringing the door bell, multiple times. We did not feel comfortable answering the door to someone elses apartment, so there was little we could do. It was very annoying and very rude of these people to give us no instructions and also to just never show up to answer the door, especially if they were expecting someone. We had no hot water in 1909, and the bathroom was impossible to maneuver around in. Breakfast was incredibly small. It was a croussant, that came in a wrapper, that was very close it's expiration date. And they also gave you 4oz of orange drink. And, they didn't serve it until 8:30 or 9am, so you were stuck there until you got it. Needless to say, we had to go out and finish eating somewhere else. Anyway, please take my advice and STAY FAR AWAY from this place. Do NOT stay here, for any reason. Don't let the price tempt you. We will never again stay here, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Hotel 1909 bed and breakfast, Rome, op loop afstand van metro en bezienswaardigheden

Het hotel is qua ligging uitstekend, je bent op loop afstand van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden, en anders is de metro dichtbij. Het hotel ligt aan een zeer drukke weg waar een tram rijdt. Sommige kamers kijken hierop uit, deze kamers zijn erg lawaaerig. Om bij het hotel te komen moet je 81 treden omhoog. Best veel als je een hele dag hebt gelopen. Bij de meeste kamers heb je een eigen badkamer maar niet in de kamer zelf maar op de gang. De kamers worden niet schoon gemaakt, de badkamer ook niet, de spullen zolas toilet papier worden niet aangevuld. Dit betekent dat je er steeds om moet vragen. Je krijg ontbijt op bed, geen luxe. De spullen worden niet opgeruimd. De kamer en de badkamer zijn gewoon niet schoon. De mensen zijn wel vriendelijk, de kamer is klein en zeer centraal gelegen. Al met al was de reis naar Rome prima, het hotel een stuk minder, de locatie maakte het voor een deel goed maar voor mijn volgende reis naar Rome boek ik een ander hotel.

OK for a one night break but no good for longer or the less mobile amongst you

This was a B&B rather than a hotel and on the 4th floor (8 flights of stairs) with no lift. The facilities were oclean enough but the bathroom was seperate from the main room and adjoining others so privacy was minimal The trams ran right outside so it was also extremely noisy at night and in the early hours. Breakfast consisted of a few slices of toast, 2 croissants and an expresso, not the full we were expecting, good job there was a cafe nearby. If you wanted a cheap B&B for one night then ok, but do not look at if you are staying longer and the location is well off the beaten track in a less fashionable district.
