"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. "Chose this hotel for a one night stopover largely because it had a pool and after 6 hours driving (shared) being able to relax and have a swim sounded like a good idea. Booked a Lux room which was a relatively new addition to the hotel and it was really lovely great shower room and very spacious with a small outside space. The pool was one of the nicest hotel pools good size and nice relaxed pool loungers. We had one issue being woken at 7.30 by someone with an industrial floor cleaner doing the corridor outside our room. Housekeeping really need to rethink that"
