"Given the stellar review on Orbitz, I was slightly disappointed because ,y expectation was too high. One thing that did hold up is that the property is indeed very clean. They do not allow dogs on their property, so there is nothing infectious in the small amount of dirt that does remain. This is a very big deal in rural Maine; almost unheard of. To contrast, the scenic Belfast harbor walk is riddled with dog poop of various freshness; you need to look down while walking, not look away at the ocean. The breakfast is good but not great; wifi coverage is spotty. But it is indeed a great place for unwinding."
