"This hotel was okay. If you just want a quick place to spend a night and that’s all, this is it. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not at the same level as hotels similarly priced. No waffle makers, scrambled eggs ( they had just hard boiled eggs), as an example. The hotel seemed to be an older hotel that may have been purchased and then updated. However, besides new paint it felt old and outdated. But ok, if you are on a budget. Cleanliness and comfort of the bed are my personal top things and it had those. So my rating of somewhere in the okay range is how I’d rate it. My next time in town i will try another hotel, just because of it being just okay. I think i can do better for maybe a little more money, which would be more to my liking. "
"I booked a larger room which I paid extra. Upon check-in i was not given that room. When I asked about it
I was told I did not book a larger room. After showing them my confirmation they still did nothing.
The next day I asked about it again and was told that they did not have those rooms do to construction.
Not once did anyone offer to refund me the differance.
The room is what you get for the price.
Made the mistake of looking under the bed. There was two miss matched shoes and a pack of Razors plus other junk.So that tells you how well they clean.
Once again you get what you pay for.
Unfortunately my work does not give us enough money to stay in nicer places....

"I didn’t even know about the pool! The room was to be ready at 3 but we had to wait over an hour for it to be cleaned. Last I wish that had an elevator. Carrying our luggage up a flight of stairs was hard because my husband and I are in our late seventies"
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Rochester - Marketplace by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very nice upon check-in, the room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel was also close to major shops, coffee and restaurants."
"We were greeted by James at the front desk, who was beyond pleasant! Thank you, James! The room was clean, but in need of repairs. The HVAC unit was making noises all night which make it hard to sleep. All in all, we had a good stay."
