"The staff, especially at the buffet, was amazing and so helpful. I have food allergies and they were so wonderful in letting me know what I could eat and even requesting special food for me!! The staff in the spa were also so incredible and helped make my experience so relaxing. My room was comfortable and always clean, and I appreciate the details every day given to the room and its cleanliness. The shower was absolutely the most wonderful part, large and enjoyable. The scenery, wildlife, staff, and beauty of this place ensured that I will return to the Catalonia!"

"It was fun to stay at the pool, the drinks were very good, the food was good but could improve more. The beach was very dirty has a lot of sargassum sadly so beach not available. Overall it was great to travel with family. Kids had fun with the water slides but we really wanted enjoy the beach. 😕 I think if the price is right, we would come back."

"This is such a beautiful hotel! Clean and most of the staff was super sweet and helpful. Besides one of the older men in the front he was a bit rude. The biggest down fall was the food and drinks 😞I wanted authentic Mexican food and it was more than American no flavor and the drinks had a plastic taste to them. Besides that everything was very well kept."

"Food was great, property was clean, staff were helpful and kind, showers are fantastic, and we would go back with the following knowledge- Distance- this property is large and many rooms are a solid 1/2 mile walk to the main food and amenities. We had to get a new room for my 85 year old mother who could not walk that far. The rest of us just got blisters. Shuttles are available but wait is often more than 20 minutes. Staff worked hard to accommodate my mothers mobility limits Air conditioning- was substandard in buildings on top floor. A/C on first floor rooms seemed much more functional"

"Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. We could not have asked for a better experience. Francisco at check-in was great, as was Juan at check-out. Efrain with VIP services was helpful and made our stay better. Alexandria was our concierge and she made sure we had everything we needed, from room maintenance to making reservations for dinner at the Japanese hibachi experience. Luisa from the Spa made reservations for us for some relaxing massages, and Carmen and Luz were excellent at those massages. Food was 10/10. Everything we got to eat, and the restaurants we got to try were delicious. The entire staff was so pleasant and made sure our stay was going well. I could not speak more highly of the entire staff and time we were there."
