"The hotel staff were very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We would especially like to recognize Maria, who provided us with excellent service and was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our experience with the employee working the night shift in the lobby was very different. We were simply buying some water and happily talking because we were excited to see each other. He spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful manner, told us to be quiet, and ordered us to move away from the reception area. His attitude was completely unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable. Aside from this unpleasant interaction, we truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the rest of the staff, especially Maria."

"This is a very nice place to stay. As always in America,so it's no fault of the staff. I still think hotel accommodations are overrated and too high, but this place as a business,rates very high as far as quality and what you get compared to other places that don't offer as much and the staff was very kind and professional and friendly and the only complaint is that the television seems to go on and off frequently Losing the signal, but I would definitely want to recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again"

"We loved that the property had a balcony and that the parking was private. You do have to pay for the parking garage but it is not bad. The fact that there was a washing machine and a dryer was great as well especially since we stayed for 5 days total and had our children with us. The kitchen was easy to cook on even though the pots and pans were a little outdated or overused. The trash was easy. Overall, if we were to come back to Virginia to visit D.C we would definitely stay here again. I did read in previous reviews that pick up of the keys was a little tricky but the video that was sent to me was very helpful! Also, a big thing, there is an Aldi's right accross from South Alex. Like literally, you walked out and there it was. It was the best!"
