"We stayed at The Louie for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we made our reservation, we felt well taken care of. We called ahead to let the hotel know we would be arriving late in the evening, and Jeremy was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He made sure we felt confident that everything would be ready for our arrival. Then came an especially wonderful surprise when we checked in and saw Malachi. I first met Malachi in May 2025, and I was so happy to see him again. His customer service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth immediately stood out to us once again. Malachi has that rare ability to make you feel like a valued guest rather than simply another person checking into a hotel. He is the kind of employee who goes above and beyond without hesitation. His welcoming personality, professionalism, and sincere desire to make guests feel special are truly exceptional. You can tell that providing outstanding hospitality comes naturally to him. Employees like Malachi are what create the kind of experience guests remember long after they leave. The Louie is incredibly fortunate to have someone of Malachi’s caliber on its team. He is a true asset to the hotel and represents the very best of hospitality. Please make sure he knows how much his efforts are appreciated—we certainly noticed, and they made our stay even more enjoyable. Our only small suggestion would be to have the shower drain checked, as it drained quite slowly. Other than"

"Very nice place for that money. Perfect if you're searching for a place to spend a night or two and don't really need anything else but bed and shower. Teriyaki restaurant is right across the parking lot and it's good. Supermarkets are in a few minutes walk radius. Great venues and historical city landmarkes around, though be ready to see everything you see nowadays in big cities downtown - homeless, trash. It's very sad but that's how it is nowadays. The area is safe though despite if looking a bit frightening. P.S. the trains are running right through the area in case if you care (didn't bother me personally at all)"
