"My friend and I stayed here for a concert in Charlottesville. I’m glad we stayed outside of Charlottesville. There were a lot of restaurants and fast food in the area. The hotel staff were SUPER friendly. I arrived alone and the woman at the front desk told me she was a mom and wanted to make sure I’d be safe before my friend arrived. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was very small but manageable, and there were plenty of mirrors in the room. Overall this was a great place to stay for 2 nights if you’re on a budget. "

"Clean room with high ceilings. Air conditioner kept the room at a good temperature."

"The staff is very friendly. I was there for three nights, it would have been nice if housekeeping would clean the room at least once just to refill the towels and toilet paper. But instead, I had to go down to the front desk to ask for it. Then there’s the stink bugs. The last day I was there, they kept coming out of the walls "

"Always enjoy staying at 24 South. It is conveniently located in downtown Staunton and has a good breakfast buffet as well as being very near other excellent restaurants."

"The room was reasonably clean but the halls smelled of mildew. The staff as nice as could be but the breakfast was minimal.The location is terrific and the views lovely. All told, despite the limitations I would come again for the central location and the courtesy of the staff."
