"Staff were pretty friendly, but the condition of the hotel has declined over the years. Our room was alright overall but obvious signs of wear on the furniture, and a very dated bathroom with some rubble in the corner and a very scratched door — it looked like a dog had been scratching it. The hallway looked like it was painted/updated since we last stayed, so perhaps they are working on it. The bed was pretty comfortable. This hotel is well-located and so close to some great restaurants, which is why we’ve stayed 4-5 times over the years. "

"Breakfast was hot and fresh with lots of variety . Room was clean and comfy. Our family enjoyed the pool with the splash buckets and bubbler in one end. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good place to stay to visit St. Jacobs. "
