We stayed in the glamping area and it was a unique experience. Our tent was big and very comfortable. My kids loved camping with style. The service, the activities were amazing. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lack of activities or open restaurants/bar on Sunday night, Friday and Saturday are well worth the experience.

The room was very clean and the location is beautiful specially the activities section is very cute for pictures and for the kids to have fun. The pool was also nice however I feel like it was very full of people the entire location and not enough employees to guide us to the activities communications was very vague and I hard a hard time to fine the locations and check ins for the activities. Also there was no breakfast service during the week for the people who stayed in the lodge and those rooms have no kitchens that was a problem for us. In overall it was good I would just be more prepared with snacks and maybe try to get a room with a kitchen.

The resort was equipped with fun activities and dining options offered were of great value. Room was quaint yet clean and everything was in good working order. Loved the safety of being in a resort yet very close to nature. We only stayed 1 night but would love to come back for rodeo night on a saturday and maybe stay in a glamping tent just for the heck of it. Indiana was out guide for horseback riding and she had some fun stories as well as knowledge about the ranch which we enjoyed very much. Definitely coming back, maybe with a group of friends to multiply the fun!

It was our first time staying at river ranch… it was great experience from the rentable golf carts to the water park and the free spirited atmosphere. The rodeo was amazing made you feel like your were in the movies too the petting zoo. Joey and the other lady at the ponies where great. They spoke to us gave us a background of the age of the ponies super friendly. Everyone there. The rooms give you a country style normal room nothing fancy. The best part is that they text you the events that are happening during the day. Dont miss the running of the horse great experience. Overall ideal for xouple retreat, to reset, kid and family friendly and a little bit for everyone to do

I love to go to Westgate with my family. We always have a great time. They have updated many of the common areas and have more eating options. They have a ton of activities for the kids and family to do. The room would benefit from an update, but we were just there to sleep. We were busy all day enjoying all the resort activities. I recommend to go with the kids. They love it.

From the moment we checked in, the experience was great. Service staff were so nice and there was so much to do! The food was excellent on property. We stayed in the Teepees and enjoyed the accommodations. Great getaway and the kids loved it. Fun for all ages!

Travelling from the UK we found this to be a great experience all activities were excellent Rodeo was brilliant luxury glamping was amazing staff were very friendly and helpful definitely would consider returning maybe when they have the new safari area apparently coming soon would definitely recommend for that cowboy experience

lots to do, friendly people. Great place to go. but, there are some simple "resort" necessities needed. Like a complimentary Ice Machine, coffee in the room, water. if you are going to call yourself resort you need these items complimentary. Or don't call yourself a resort. It's more of a timeshare facility. Bring your own everything.

Nice place. Kids had a good time. Not encouraged to go there if you are a minority. You wont feel welcomed. The staff is great, but the type of people that go there arent really folks that likely share the same interests as you do. There are Confederate flags all over; etc. Hotel rooms are no bueno, old. IF you want something nice, you need to spend the money glamping or have your own trailer.

Great place for families! Lots of activities for everyone. Beautiful location and a great getaway. Only negative was the prices at the General Store. Understand they have to make a profit but we went in to buy a pack of beer for a family and friends gathering and the price was $32.00 for a 12 pack!!! I thought my husband was kidding when he told me! I looked online and normal pricing is at most $14 and change. Guess it’s best to buy groceries etc somewhere other than there. Will definitely go back but not to the General Store 😊
