"Lovely little establishment within an equally nice village. Rooms on one side of the building have amazing mountain views. The hostess was by far the friendliest and most accommodating that I have met on my Greece roadtrip. When I said I was there to climb Olympus, she offered to keep my bags at the hotel after I had checked out, so I wouldn't have to leave them in the car. Also spoke fluent English, which always helps! "Have been going to Greece last 25 years, mainly because of Greek hospitality.. this time (first time in this hotel) was everything but hospitality.. staff simple didn’t care about guests at all.. every morning debate at breakfast what is included and what isn’t.. ‘rules’ changing every day, mistakes happening all the time.. charged twice for same thing, never had cold water (35 degrees outside), etc etc on the beach, sun beds outdated, old more than ten years, falling a part.. waiting for waiter...

"Amazing!!! The hotel itself is gorgeous and very clean. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We would open the window at night just to hear the water running in the nearby river. The small historical neighbourhood is majestic and so peaceful. The staff at Kokkino Spiti went above and beyond. Very friendly, welcoming and professional. They treated us so well, they made sure we were comfortable and treated my 90 year old father with such kindness. The breakfast was great, we were treated to the local olives, jams, fresh bread and local yogurt and honey. We are definitely coming back!!! "
