"Given the age of the property I’d say it’s fairly clean and tidy. Breakfast choices were okay, could do with more selection. The dining menu was not too bad, though was slightly disappointed with the duck dish I had for dinner service. The spa was nice, again it could do with a freshen up look as most items felt well used. Otherwise it’s been a pleasant stay."

"Lovely hotel. Seperate parking for hotel guests. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Refreshing free welcome drinks in reception was a nice tough on a hot weekend. We used the pool facilities which were excellent including a hot tub, sauna and steam room. Changing facilities were very well done too. Breakfast was nice and we were able to sit by the window over looking the courtyard. All in all, we had a lovely time staying in this hotel and would definitely come back."

"From us entering the hotel to leaving the staff were all helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The tv being able cast from our phones was a bonus too. Breakfast was all cooked well with choices of both English and continental. We came down closer to the end time and had to wait a little for some choices to be topped back up but the staff again were very helpful in sorting this. With free parking by entering your reg, our stay was all that we hoped for. I’d give a big thumbs up to this hotel based on our experience."

"Cleanliness excellent. Spa and pool excellent. Restaurant menu has changed and for me was disappointing. Lots of steak choices. No salads rice or pasta dishes which I expect were on the bar menu. Unfortunately the bar has a TV on 24/7 so not an ideal alternative to the restaurant unless you can eat outside. Overall a lovely stay. For me the restaurant was the only disappointment..but that's a personal view from someone who has stayed for the past 6 years"
