"A serene retreat close to Rio, Celeste, and national Park, even though there was a bit of language barrier. The front desk was kind and we figured it out. She even helped us book a night tour. The property grounds were beautiful. It felt like you were in the jungle. There is no AC, but there is fans in the room. The hammock outside the Villa was a nice touch and you had your own privacy. "We stayed one night in July on our way through, and we would have loved an additional night or two. Such a beautiful property - comfortable room, delicious food, clean pool, helpful staff, and lots of wildlife around to enjoy! Our young kids loved the playground near the restaurant, too. I can't say enough good things about this place. I look forward to staying here again. The wildlife rescue next door was also a highlight - don't miss it!"

"My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. The hot tub was down while we were there but it wasn’t missed. We took advantage of the Lake Tour and La Tia’s massage services which were both worth the money. We traveled to La Fortuna and used a shuttle service that picked us up right from the hotel. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!"
