"We had a flight cancelled and picked this hotel at random. It was a very cute spa. Desk staff were extremely friendly, easy going and helpful. Shuttle to train station. If not dealing with the Crowdstrike disaster it would have been interesting to try the baths. "

Four japanese style bedrooms that lock separately, two toilets and showers, a spaceous kitchen, and one big shared living area which is lovingly decorated with traditional japanese decoration and furniture. "It is a simple ryokan which shows how it used to be. Very serene and quiet place with a small but beautiful onsen (hot pool and outside rockpool). Right there he walk to the Buddhist temple along the Kansii River starts. A most outstanding forest walk with many Buddhist features along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and that 2 hour walk."
