"Brilliant stay here.. beautiful country location but close to the town. The ladies who greeted us and looked after us were friendly, accommodating and just genuinely great people. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hope we will be back"

"We had a bit of a rude welcome but this was rectified the following day at breakfast.
A well placed property with a good breakfast.
The bathroom was a little tired and the beds were comfortable."

"Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good
Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly.
Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants.
Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems.
All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again."

"Fantastic location and parking provided; staff was super helpful and welcoming. The room was okay, but I feel the bed needs an upgrade in mattress comfort, at least for me. Worth it for the location."

"Perfect location right on Sandbanks beach and easy to park. Can jump on the chain ferry just outside and walk along Studland beach too. Love the outside heated pool. We stayed in a budget double room which is great value. The room was clean and comfortable it just didn't have a view which was fine. We had dinner at the hotel in the evening which was very disappointing as the menu was nothing like what we had seen online. Breakfast was ok although items ran out fast and were not replaced very quickly."
"When booking a small room not all have windows be sure to ask if this is a problem for you. But as always a lovely hotel great staff and a relaxed stay"
"This was a beautiful, historic hotel. All the communal areas were lovely and the food and service was excellent. My dad's room was lovely and cool, but ours was stuffy and too hot on the third floor. The fan made little difference and we struggled without aircon; we were very unlucky. Staff helped with ice buckets but couldn't switch us to another room as the place was full. A second fan did help a bit with the overnight heat, but we had to spend a lot of time out if the room for comfort."
"Our room was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the breakfast was very monotonous and the coffee was terrible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At the weekend there was a large group of travellers in the bar and they were very rude to the staff. The atmosphere was very intimidating both for the staff and customers. Some of them were making racist comments. Their children were feral. We avoided the bar when they were present. Management should have done something."
