So this was an interesting weekend. It might have involved the Coast Guard, a helicopter, and needing to be rescued, but that was the day before this was taken. To try to salvage what was left of this trip, I had heard of a cypress swamp near Savannah. We ended up kayaking around this beautiful swamp and looking up at these mammoth trees with their roots totally exposed. The entire trip is about 8 miles, but where this was taken is a nice small paddle if you are interested.

Clean and comfortable, not luxurious, although the room could have used a coffee machine. Also, traditional breakfast at the restaurant was very good, but dinner was odd; obscurely spiced and a rather obtuse menu.
