"Very central in the middle of party and local bars. Very crowded and very loud at night. Even if there are double windows. The apartment itself was okay, but not that special. Very poor equipment in the kitchen and not very clean. No automatic check-in. And no easy parking in the street as you need to drive through all the people in the streets. Not recommended for normal drivers. Parking is expensive, at 26 € a night."

"The property didn’t have much toilet paper stocked, we had to buy our own. The area is great but nightlife goes VERY late here and you will hear people in the streets until 6-7am. Woman checking us in was very rude when we were lost trying to find her. LOVE the area though"

"Everything was amazing. Very clean and organised. Staff very polite and professional. We were just disappointed that we were asked to pay an extra €15 for early check-in before 3 PM. Also, we couldn’t leave our bags after check-out until our flight at 9 PM unless we paid another €15 each to use the lockers outside in the streets. That was quite frustrating. "We had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo Malaga. Despite having an issue with a pipe leaking into our room during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and proactive in getting this sorted. They kindly upgraded us to a different room as compensation. Their friendliness, kindness and help was outstanding with a particular mention for Nacho who was just the best. We would definitely stay here next time we are in Malaga and have already recommended it to family and friends. Thank you!"
