"Excellent high quality breakfast, very clean rooms and bathroom, amazing National Park site and exclusive access in the evening. Parking a bit full but just about manageable."

"The property overall is beautiful and the staff were all very helpful. Unfortunately our room did not have a mini refrigerator which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and when I booked I thought all the rooms came with one but I was informed not ours, which was very inconvenient. The pool area is lovely but there are no pool towels readily available and they frequently run out when they were requested. The furniture around the pool under the gazebo needs replacing and cleaning. I feel the property is under staffed and with some attention to detail this property could be magnificent."

"Restaurant was good but the bed had collapsed and by the time we turned in there was no reception staff so we had a very poor night in a crap bed, it must have been obvious when the room was made up but disregarded. On check out we were given a meagre discount on the meal wine. Frankly pi** poor service for English guests camouflaged by lack of any basic English language you would never think it was compulsory at school for years. Love France and the French had a house here for years but customer service is a lottery in budget hotels. Gallic shrug take it or leave it such a shame."

"Very friendly staff. Basic, small room with kettle, tea and coffee but no stirrers. Carpet was dirty around the side of the bed and could do with replacing. There is a car park but this is not free, which we didn't know when booking. The bar area is very nice."
