"Great location direct connection to BER Airport and easy access to Old Spandau Centre. But could not call friends or receive calls from important relatives. We are tourists, 80 years old, that depend on such a service. Our Canadian roaming charges are extremely expensive so we had no telephone connections to the Berlin area. Not everyone has a German mobile phone."

"Great and helpfull staff, nice rooms, quite clean but with strange smell in the shower room. There's also a pub/club/disco downstairs so it's very loud at night. But you will get ear-plugs (!!!) to sleep softly in a quiet reality ;-) No brekafast included is a great minus compensated by localisation of a hostel. Good place to stay for a acceptable price."

"Nice and clean hotel. Polite people at front desk. Got my room earlier than official check in time, which was a plus. Nice room. I think (can’t fully remember) that I requested a double bed instead of two single beds (which I got), but I didn’t bother that much. Good lunch and breakfast. "

Baltpark is located close to two parks, more and more bars and restaurants are popping up in walking distance. It is just to know where the less mainstream, alternative night-life is taking place in Riga. There is also a bakery, less than 10 minutes from the hotel, attracting the more unpretentious...
