"My family and I had the great pleasure of spending part of our summer holidays at Windermere House this July, and it was everything we hoped it would be—and more. This historic resort, originally built in 1870, carries a rich legacy. Although it tragically burned down in 1996 during the filming of a movie, it was impressively rebuilt within a year to match the original design. "The service ia exceptional just the bufget dinner is super costly and hardly veggie options on menu. The sever refused any help but the manager was awsome and got us special off the menu veggie platter so that was awesome service. Every other bit was top class."
"The Quiet Bay Inn is a beautiful tranquil cabin where you can experience the local wildlife from the comfort of your cabin. Beautiful view of the lake and all of the essential amenities are available. Breakfast at the quite bay restaurant was AMAZING and the pricing was very reasonably. Would highly recommend!!! "
