"Great hotel. Exceptional staff throughout. Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great location, close to old town, hop on/off bus, shops and restaurants. Lovely views over the water.Close to station but no noise from trains.
Only minus points were room a lite hot and no real aircon, plus the handheld part of the shower was a little temperamental.
Would certainly recommend."
"Breakfast was wonderful. They said at the desk that it opened every day at 6:30, but it is actually 7 am on weekends. Loved that we could choose to have our room cleaned or not, and just get fresh towels when we needed them. Great view of city hall, loved the sun deck as a quiet place to rest. "
"I had a twin room, which was a great size and clean with towels provided and complimentary slippers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the option to leave our luggage after checkout was great. It’s an old building, so some areas were worn, but it was part of the charm. It’s close to the harbour as well as cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries and historical places of interest, such as the Royal Palace. I’d definitely stay here again! "
