Hard Days Night Hotel Liverpool

"Hotel is great, really well decorated and welcoming. Good, central location. Room was comfortable, spacious and all the necessary amenities. TV didn’t have any usual channels for some reason. Loved the firm mattress but would’ve liked the pillows to be more plush. I thought it would be noisy but the volume decreased after 10:30 on Saturday night! Staff are friendly and welcoming, helpful and looked after us throughout. Didn’t eat there, so can’t comment on the food. Not the best shower - water pressure/ temperature fluctuates often."

"I travel to Liverpool every month and stay in this hotel regularly. It’s normally fine but my meal last night in the restaurant was one of the worst i have ever experienced. I decided to treat myself to a ribeye steak. It costs £48 so definitely was a treat. It was dreadful. Horrifically over cooked, so much so that I sent it back which I never do. The waiter agreed that it was badly cooked. Took them 20 mins to cook another steak which was even worse than the original one. Over-cooked and tough. It was horrible and made me ill. Service was super slow as well and the restaurant was practically empty. No formal apology, no discount just the offer of a fee dessert but having been there already for 90 mins and on my own I just wanted to leave. So disappointed. Will be changing my hotel in the future. Avoid at all costs."
