The Filoxenia Hotel is a truly magical place! We stayed for 10 nights in mid-August and honestly couldn't fault a single thing. The rooms are well equipped and kept clean by the excellent cleaning teams, The pools were well kept and tidy, and the team are extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers a peaceful stay nestled among the old farmland where you are surrounded by local fruit and olive trees, and other traditional greek plants which show it's authenticity. It's impressive that the harvest from these plants goes straight to the kitchen to be used in the restaurant or made into jams and preserves for sale on-site. We ate at the restaurant most mornings and evenings as the food was some of the best we had in all of Rhodes and was very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend the Sunday BBQ night and Lamb Kleftiko enough! Also very much worth reserving a table for the traditional Greek music and dancing night on Friday evenings. My only warning is not a fault of the hotel but I strongly recommend hiring a car to explore the island. Buses are infrequent, unreliable and massively overcrowded. In summary, this is a hotel with a huge heart where the staff are clearly a close-knit community who want guests to enjoy their stay as much as possible. It offers a more traditional taste of Rhodes which is exactly what we came for. Other resorts in the area seem cold and sterilised in comparison. We plan on returning to this beautiful place again and again!

Ett helt fantastiskt litet hotell

Haft en helt fantastisk vecka på Filoxenia med familjen. Ägarna är helt fantastiska och mycket hjälpsamma, de gör allt för att just du som gäst ska trivas! På skylten vid vägen stär det att alla är välkomna och det är precis så det känns. Det vi saknade var ett större matutbud (finns en hel men vi saknade t.ex. gyros eller souvlaki i pita som enklare lunch), men det finns många restauranger i närheten. Har ett väldigt bra intryck av hotellet i helhet: rent och fräscht, väldigt trevlig och glad personal (även städerskor och servitriser, känns som en bra arbetsplats). Ligger en bit från Rhodos stad men det gjorde egentligen ingenting när man inte ska åka in fler än 1-2 gånger, och det är väldigt nära flygplatsen. Området är litet och familjärt med tre byggnader, varav två med hotellrum. På hotellområdet finns en massa olika fruktträd och en trädgårdsmästare smyger runt varje morgon och fixar. Vi är väldigt nöjda och kommer välja Filoxenia om vi åker tillbaka till Rhodos.

Séjour agréable

Un petit hôtel sympathique à taille humaine. La chambre était conforme à ce que nous avions réservé. Le cadre tout autour de l’hôtel est tres charmant : jardin bien entretenu et fleuri, arbres fruitiers…nous avons mangé plusieurs fois au restaurant de l’hôtel, la nourriture est excellente et le tarif est correcte (soirée barbecue entre autre), enfin les propriétaires de l’établissement sont très gentils et très investis dans la tenue de leur hôtel

Nach 2019 unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Hotel. Die Anlage ist immer noch sehr sauber, das Inhaber Ehepaar ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Essen ist immer noch sehr gut und bezahlbar. Eine echte Empfehlung für alle die etwas abseits von den großen Touristen Herbergen Urlaub machen möchten.

Eine wunderschöne und sehr saubere Hotelanlage. Das Filoxenia wird von der Besitzer Familie geführt und man fühlt sich ab dem ersten Moment sehr wohl. Die Zimmer waren. Sehr sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. In unseren Zimmern haben einige Fernsehsendung nicht funktioniert, der Besitzer hat sich sofort darum gekümmert und das Problem beseitigt. Die Anlage selbst liegt etwas entfernt von Touristenzentrum was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, unsere Erwartungen wurden wirklich übertroffen.

Tout était parfait ! Le lieu est charmant , très beau et bien entretenu. Conforme aux photos sur site. Les équipements sont extras. Les logements propres et spacieux. La nourriture est délicieuse . beautiful Greek guest house hotel family run business with mr Nikos and his beautiful wife preparing delicious food for tourists like us, me and my family especially the kids enjoyed this hotel and the pool and each night dinner was great thank you and sure we will visit it next summer PS: minutes walk to the beach, 5 min drive to the airport, 15 min drive to rhodes old city

Lovely apartments and staff.

Stayed for a blissful week - the apartments and pool areas were spotless. Niko and his wife were friendly and very helpful. There is a bus stop outside the Hotel which goes to Rhodes for 3 Euros each. The mini golf was a bonus although there is a small charge. Would definitely recommend.

Exceeded expectation on so many levels

First of all, Nikos & Evangelina are 2 of the most hospitable & welcoming people you could ever meet. The food served at the restaurant is excellent & many of the flavours come from their beautifully kept gardens. Had some of the best meals in Rhodes at Filoxenia, especially the BBQ on Friday night. Absolutely loved the week spent here and would recommend it to anyone. Rooms are spacious and clean with fairly basic amenities and the island itself has plenty to explore also. Recommend a day trip to Symi Island if you have the time
