Really great location and nicely maintained property! It was quiet, staff was nice, and room was comfy. Only minor issue was our room smelled stuffy when we arrived but we were able to open a window and air it out before bed. I would stay here again!

The property is at a great location for nearby restaurants and access to a walking and biking trail. There are two bike shops nearby for repairs and supplies. The staff is very helpful about local places to eat and access to other things, such as medical supplies. The property is not well-maintained to a high standard. There is chipped paint on doors, as though it wasn’t properly prepped before painting; and poorly done puttying of holes. However, the room was clean.

The hotel is a little older - but extremely well maintained. Very clean. It is in a fantastic location. Our room had a view of the lake - and everything in the town was in walking distance. The pool is fantastic! Again, so clean! I can’t emphasize enough how well kept the entire hotel is. The lady at the front desk was such a hard worker! We were there for July 4th, and she looked so patriotic with her flag bandana. You could tell that she was very invested in her guests and the welfare of the hotel in general. Loved our stay!!

The best thing about this hotel is the location, it's walkable to everything. The hotel itself is in poor condition. Our room smelled, the shower had black mildew or mold all around the bottom, it looked gross so we didn't even use it. Bedding had stains, window sill was caked with dirt. We were so turned off by the state of the hotel that we didn't go for the breakfast. We were out and about most the time and literally only slept there.

Loved the beach was located across the street. The continental breakfast was wonderful. Large selection of choices to eat. Bad point.Had to wait 2 hours past check in for a room. Said no help available to clean rooms. Then we were never notified there was a clean room available like we were promised they would contact as soon as a clean room was available.

We stayed here after leaving another local hotel that we previously booked because the other place was GROSS! We were greeted by a wonderful front desk attendant who made check in easy and efficient while juggling our littles and our belongings! Things were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, it made for a great stay! The location is somewhere we will return too without a doubt!

We didn’t like the bathroom set up. There is just a shower and toilet in one room. No shelves or sink in the room. No place to set anything, other than the floor or toilet. The sink and vanity is in the entry way, just past the entry closet. The sink vanity area is too small. The lighting around the sink is good, but it’s bright and interferes with anyone trying to sleep. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water and a nice big shower head. Our first floor room was very quiet and was clean. The beds were comfortable enough and they had nice pillows. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had our puppy with us and they all interacted with him. The breakfasts were just okay. The yogurt machine was nice. They could have had better granola and fresh fruit to go along with it though. They had French toast, eggs and bacon one morning and sausage and eggs the next morning. They were all okay. The waffle machine makes 4 small waffles at once which was nice. They also had some cold cereals, bagels and breads. They kept the coffee well supplied. Parking was fine and the hotel has nice views of the Lake and the lake side park across the street. It’s conveniently located and you can easily walk or ride a bike to the bearskin trail. It’s within walking distance of a number of bars and restaurants.
