Great location and excellent breakfast

The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance to the train station, grocery stores and a discount store. Make sure to walk to Rheinfelden, Switzerland, which is a very nice, underrated town. The breakfast at Hotel Danner was among the best of our 3-week European escapade. The staff at the front desk was excellent, especially the young man whose name I wish I remembered. He gave us very good advice about Basel. I definitely want to go back to Hotel Danner.

All in all very pleasant, breakfast buffet was nice and plenty choices. Only downsides are that the room walls are rather thin and depending on your neighbor, you may hear them clearly. The other small downsides are the missing slippers in the room, so you best bring your own. Location is great, just 5min walk to the Swiss border.

Great little hotel

This is a great little hotel. Affordable, convenient, clean. The bathrooms have been updated. The staff were friendly, check in was easy. We enjoyed the restaurant too.

Great place. Good breakfast. Buffet in the associated Chinese restaurant is nice and not expensive option. 15 min walk to Solo Uno on Swiss side of Rhein. Good dining option in Gambrinus.

Good and clean room Ventilation was 20 minutes after using the toilet during the right (was disturbing) Nice Restaurant Fudu A little stinky in the morning still cause of the Chinese food restaurant in the whole hotel I guess But the food was very nice Parking not included Construction noise in the morning would be good as an information before booking All in all it was a good hotel Also the breakfast had very clean tables, nice decoration plus salty and sweet food coffee, tee and juice :)

Op doorreis naar Italië hier een nacht verbleven. Een goede keuze. Voor Bazel van de snelweg af en een kwartiertje later ben je er. Je voorkomt zo de files bij Bazel en de veel hogere hotelprijzen in Zwitserland. Hoewel het niet bij de beschrijving stond was er toch een koelkastje op onze kamer. Fijn! Onze vriesblokken mochten een nachtje in de vriezers van het hotel.
