"The chap on reception (might be the manager) was very friendly and helpful. Although there are narrow corridors, the hotel overall is not grim, and "feels" pleasant. It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement. Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber. "Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need."

"We spotted this stunning property and looked no further. The house did not disappoint, grand and full of character. The only thing with more character is Steve the owner, what a wonderful helpful Gent he is. He's truly worthy of a visit! "This chalet is just perfect, everything about the stay I could't fault. As it is the only chalet on the property you get complete privacy and your own field for activities with a lovely pond to walk around too. The lack of wifi is actually amazing and feels like a real getaway. The hot tub and firepit kept us entertained all evening anyway!
