The room I stayed in was clean and so was the bathroom. It was definitely worth the price. That said, the breakfast being an additional thing to pay for was way overpriced for what was available.

It's the cheapest one closest to Glacier Lagoon. They are doing construction right now. The dinner food was 5 star, the best part. The room, #18 was 2 star; pretty unattractive, no decor. It's 2026, felt like 1956.Our friends had one of the new cabins which was pretty nice inside. The shower water pressure was about 5 psi, pretty disappointed.

This is a nice guesthouse with separate duplexes. The rooms are small and the sink in the bathroom is the smallest sink I have ever seen. Good water pressure and hot water. The room is heated by an electric heater and it was pretty hot. It’s fine for one night. Parking is easy. Staff were pleasant. Dinner was good but pretty expensive.

Very basic small hotel room. Not much space to put carry on luggage. It would be nice to have at least a mini fridge since there are no stores close, restaurants are expensive so I could put a couple of groceries for next day travel. We had dinner in the restaurant since there is nothing else really close by. It was pretty good. The shower curtain and towels were worn out a bit. Loved watching the sheep outside the window and free coffee/tea in reception area. We didn’t want to pay $24 a person for breakfast but it looked pretty good.

Lovely little cottage hotel. Perfect for our family of 5, we each had our own bed. Its in a quiet location, which we enjoyed. There aren't many food options, so keep that in mind. But overall, our stay here was great. This was a convenient place just a 15 minute ride to the Jokulsarlon lagoon, where we started our glacier tour teh next day,

Quirky little guest house. Staff was helpful. Parking adequate. Very remote area so if you need groceries or ice, make sure you are prepared in advance. Breakfast was a typical Icelandic spread( sliced cheese, meat, veggies, fruit and porridge/cereal). Very remote… no TV or fridge

We stayed in one of their new cabins and it was well above my expectations. Super clean and warm room, friendly staff and the food from the restaurant was amazing as well. Area is super quiet and can give you a good view of the northern lights if they are out. Would stay here again.

Good hotel for a short stay

While the room was small considering the price (paid about 450US$ a night) it was clean and has comfortable rooms. Great location. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The location was great. Staff was very nice as well. The log cabins were very homely. They were a bit small but that was fine. Only minor feedback I would give is that the basin was very small which made it hard to use.

Cabins were beautifully done. It is small, but has everything we need. Showers feel very nice and hot. Cabins were located at the very end of the resort, located next to the farm with lots of sheeps. Homes were very clean, and has everything we need. Highly recommend it, we had an amazing stay :)

Close to Vatnajökull Park so very handy if staying in the area. I had a free upgrade to a cabin, which was superb. The other cabins looked ok from the outside. The hotel is quite near the sea, so a short walk will bring you to it. Warning there is no TV. They did internet but my cabin 13 couldn’t get it, although my own WiFi worked
