Perfect place to book if wanting to stay near downtown. I paid $155/night, which seems cheaper than most places for a hotel this nice. Easily the best hotel during our trip, it felt like a 4-star hotel for a 2-star price considering how expensive Iceland can be during summer months. Worth it for the right price!

I did not like.the self check in nor not having a front desk of any kind. It’s a good location but so what if no one is there to help you get a ride to the airport or tour pickups. When I figured it out I found the people you called for codes into your room were very helpful. I just do not like this system.

Booked this hotel at the last minute due to Airbnb not working out. Time of check in had not received a code for self check in, waited outside front of hotel for 30 mins. Area apparently noisy as earplugs are supplied for guests. Room nice, clean, three twin beds. Noticed front door area seemed to be a gathering place for locals (?). Good location. Did not see a staff member unsure if any lobby or amenities. All that being said booked last minute, it worked for one night, clean, good price great location. Would stay again.

I’ve stayed here twice on this trip, and my first stay was excellent- modern, comfortable room, perfect location. This time, I checked in late at night- the bathroom door was off its rail, so it was swinging in an unsafe way when you moved it. There’s no check-in staff available when you call from the lobby at night, so no chance to change room. Not as many plug points, either. The room was large, bed comfortable, but it was not as good as my first stay, which was a shame

Not like in a photos and with bed bugs.

Booked a room with a balcony, in a pictures you can see two different styles of sofas, there were no sofa. Only two chairs. Balcony is not separated from other rooms, so you can get visitors. In a balcony only one chair to sit. Bathroom is huge, but nowhere to hang either a towel or clothes. But the worst thing was bed bugs. Woke up in the morning with small itchy bites everywhere. Contacted the hotel and got an apology. I would not recommend this hotel, way too high price for such a low standard.

Would definitely stay here again. The apartment was very clean with lots of natural light. Laundromat very close by. Great location for shopping and restaurant options. Very walkable area. Most of all though, superb communication from the management. Call or email - they will respond quickly and are very helpful!

The hotel was located in the centre of the town, very good spot to get everywhere. The room was clean, but very small. Hotel had complementary coffee and water in the lobby. Toilet could have been more private.

The apartment was in an ideal location for the centre and was very spacious. Whilst this is a self check in hotel the comms were good via email althought i didnt raise any issues. On the negative side the locatio is very noisy with loud music plus people until early hours in morning followed by bin (garbage) collections etc starting c6am!! Whilst the hotel did its best by giving ear plugs some may not like this. The other issue is the curtains as they are too small and did not cover the windows! When it is permenantly light in May they ought to ensure this is resolve and get curtains that fit the windows

Terrible noise, curtain doesn't cover the windows

Be warned. The noise from the bar is something that is untolerable. Unless you really love bar music and sleeps really late (The bar closes at 11pm as it was stated). We were given the quadroom of which the bar is right below. The whole room feels like it is shaking the whole time. It was stated on the card that ear plugs are provided but they are nowhere to be found in the room. Went to the luggage storage room that they said has ear plugs but the code doesn't work ! Another major negative point, the curtain doesn't close fully ! it only cover like half of the window. Looks like someone put up a wrong-sized curtain. Note that this is a self serviced hotel, so basically that's limited guest support. Location is good but I will not be coming back.

This is very central, so central in fact we were worried about noise, but that proved not to be an issue. Room was very nice, good view and underfloor heating in well designed bathroom. Tea/coffee downstairs and quick check in. Picture of location on Google was misleading, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Happy to stay here again.

Very nice hotel in a lovely area. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only downfall was that the bus from airport dropped me off at the bus stop which is about 4 blocks uphill. With 2 suitcases on my own and in the pouring rain, it was a difficult journey to the hotel. Need to be aware that getting to hotel can be challenging depending on age and weather. Loved the actual hotel’s
