"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"The only negative experience was our check in as the young lady that helped us was the most rude experience we had in our 10 days in Europe. Everyone else at the resort was delightful. "Modern converted mill, next to the train station. Everything clean and tidy, apart from the supplied and much needed fan (No AC). It was full of hair and dust, not ideal really. Had to sleep with windows open, during 35'c heat. Check in was a bit of a faff with digital registration and needing passport images all before you got access to the code to let you in. (My code didn't arrive, so i had to call a helpful woman who sorted it for me) In total took over 20min to "check in" at a time when you just wanted to drop your bags and rest."
