"Book elsewhere or you will face many trails and tribulations. I started reading the reviews after booking and I wasn’t able to cancel so I decided to be optimistic. But EVERYTHING I feared took place down to the bugs inside of my husband suitcase, leaking ceilings, my daughter vomiting all afternoon and night after she ate lunch, room transfer. It was truly an exhausting experience. "

"All of the food was good, but the service was inconsistent. The bar was frequently backed up, and waitstaff were often unavailable. What’s surprising is that I visited 15 years ago, and my mom was there 20 years ago—yet nothing seems to have changed. The buildings are aging, and the rooms feel outdated."

"Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy! The staff made the stay much more than expected. They became like family. They were very attentive and patient with us through the language variances. The chef Chickie was excellent and would alter the menu as requested. Anna the housekeeper went beyond to ensure things were cleaned. Moises and Gleni also were over the top in providing the utmost service. The property is not on the beach (they have a shuttle daily) but in a safe area. I would walk the streets as people were going to and coming from work. I will go back! "
