"The staff of Aleesha Villas are its most valuable assets…always helpful, polite and friendly. It is only a short walk to the main area of Sanur but the property itself is in need of a great deal of improvement. It is shabby and run down and needs a lot of work to bring it to a level of other accommodation in the area. "

This villa was advertised as being near downtown Ubud, but in reality, it was located far out in the countryside, nowhere close to the city. This false advertisement caused a lot of inconvenience, especially since there was no taxi service available for pickup or transportation. "Very beautiful and well maintained villas. Perfect location just off Ubud’s main street (4 minute walk) with plenty to do. Lots of good food and drink options. The villas felt very safe. The entire bottom floor is open air so be aware of potential bugs, however was not much of an issue for us. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"Had the absolute best time at Ayung Resort! The staff were absolutely amazing and we loved getting to go to tea time in the afternoon and hang by the beautiful pool. We had a driver, Rena, pick us up from the airport and he was the best tour guide ever —sweetest man ever and we spent the entire next day with him having him show us around the island! Couldn’t recommend him enough!!"

"We recently stayed at Andaz Sanur for 4 nights as part of my birthday week celebrations. Absolutely loved this stunning resort, the staff who couldn't do enough for you and the dining options which were available onsite. They even organised a lovely birthday cake which was very unexpected 😁 What we didn't love was the harassment we received by the ladies on the boardwalk (outside the resort) anytime we wanted to go for a walk. Everytime they saw us they would beg us to have a look at their shop and they simply wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. In the end we were harassed to the point that we were forced to find another route to walk just to avoid them. Would definitely stay at Andaz again but in hindsight would steer clear of the boardwalk. "
