Hotels near Regal White Oak

"We were only going to be in the Raleigh area for 1 night & chose this hotel because it had very good reviews (especially compared to other hotels @ similar prices in the area). It looked like it was actually built in the last few years, so everything was new & it wasn’t run down like many others I had looked at. The staff (both that we interacted with) were very nice & very helpful. The beds were comfortable. They full kitchen was a bonus. And there was a tv with apps already available making it easy to find a movie to watch before bed. They put a soft brown blanket, folded at the foot of the bed which was amazing. That was actually all I used to sleep that night. I wish more hotels had those. All I’d suggest is maybe cleaning better after the guests. We found a Wellbutrin pill on the floor by the bed & leftover food in the freezer. Not a huge deal. Also the WiFi wasn’t the best. It worked ok for the tv, but our iPhones kept buffering. They also said the internet was having such a problem when we went to check out, that the system was down & they couldn’t technically check us out when we left, but it didn’t cause any issues. Overall it was a great, good priced place to stay, that was clean & comfortable, with very nice & helpful staff at the front desk. Would definitely recommend. Would stay again!"

"Around 25 minutes after arrival there were two what Google called carpet beetles. They were tiny. Then around an hour later when we returned with food two roaches came from under the microwave and then one was crawling on the wall by the night stand. We notified the front desk who offered another room, on the same floor. Upon inspecting that room before unpacking again...there were a couple of dead bugs in the room and a spider in the window. There was also an alive spider in the bed. We informed the front desk that we were leaving and was told to request a refund through Hotels.com. That process was completed only to be notified Red Roof Inn declined the request for a refund. We sent pictures as proof as well. Very dissatisfied with this booking. "

"Absolutely awful!!! My window was not attached if you touched it , it would fall in. We were on ground level and people were standing by the cars a couple feet from our window constantly. I was then told maintenance left so there wasn’t anything we could do and the hotel had no vacancy. The curtains did not move the tracks were short so the only closing curtains were sheer. I had to use a hair clip to pull the outside curtains shut for privacy. Gym wasn’t open, computers weren’t accessible … and I hen we returned to our room the second night there was a pocket knife on the floor beside our bed. The reviews are very misleading as I only booked this because of the 8.2 rating !!!! "
