"I truly enjoyed my time at Oakland Marriott City Center. Their is nothing like it. The food, professional staff at the front desk, lobby staff, household technician (maids) and the fitness center!"

"The Lodge was clean but run down. The first unit, bathroom door which was a pocket door would not come out to close. I requested another room and the toilet did not flush without me taking the cover off and reaching in to activate the flush flap. There were connecting doors that were not locked so I had to block them with chair and luggage to feel safe that no one could come in from those doors. I only spent one night and booked to take advantage of the airport shuttle service which was great. Service was ontime, driver very helpful and pleasant. That was the only highlight of my stay. I would not stay again."

"Great hotel, location and airport shuttle. There was a party going on at the hotel and it was extremely loud. It went on well into midnight. Outside of that great hotel."

"Check in was rather stressful for some in our party. Some in our party do not drink alcohol, and the front desk person was very pushy with trying to give a bottle of wine, or complimentary cards for a glass of beer/wine. She would not take "no thank you" for an answer. The door to our room was extremely heavy, and hard to open. The pocket bathroom door was heavy as well. In the bathroom, there were no places to hang wet towels, other in the shower. Not a great option when there were 3 of us showering. The workout room was very nice, and some of the staff were very helpful."
