"Booked a Luxury-Suite with balcony-view to the pyramids with Expedia. Room was NOT available at arrival. Reasons varied depending on whom you asked. My educated guess is, the hotel goofed the booking and was overbooked. Management offered a cancellation, but standing in Gizeh in an unsafe area at night without a room was not a real option. "Service here was excellent! Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. They gave us cold water bottles on arrival, carried our bags, and anticipated our needs. The building is new and attention was paid to the details. Seeing the pyramids from the rooftop terrace at sunset and breakfast was especially lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here! And because it is down an alley from the main road, the quiet away from the chaos was appreciated. Thank you! "
