"The Wild Orchid is a glimpse into the heyday of Angeles City. Well maintained, location is ideal relative to Red Street (former walking street). It is well maintained and staff is friendly, efficient and competent. A great place to stay and enjoy the many amenities. "

"This place was great - far and away the best place in town. After a week in a crummy, AirBnB death trap, we moved here and it was a world away from the filthy, rundown 'city' outside the hotel - an absolute oasis. The rooms are, quite simply, the best I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Amazing comfort and luxury with fantastic shower and jacuzzi bath. The bars are not full of bikini clad girls (unless you bring your own) so you can enjoy the pool bar in peace and quiet all day and most evenings if you want to. The restaurants are pretty basic with limited choices but the food is ok - there is a french restaurant next door (part of the hotel?) and a couple of indian restaurants nearby. Also Queens hotel in town for steak. The city itself is a complete dump, Walking Street a huge disappointment, and the golf courses are nothing special. If you need to visit Angeles and you want comfort, this is the place for you."
