"The location was great. Hotel was well appointed. Staff was very friendly (especially Maeve). Standard rooms are a tight fit but cute. Sadly, construction blocked the views of the water. Pool was tepid and steam room didn't work. All in all, would stay here again."

Very minor matters and I am sure they would have been looked at Had I asked but was out most of the time seeing relatives. Hotel has been upgraded since my last visit and there is a huge difference . "As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint. The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We had a great night sleep and all set for a beautiful breakfast in the morning which again was amazing. All in all it was a fabulous overnight and we are looking forward to going back again soon."
